Jurien Bay is located 220 km north of Perth, Western Australia. Simply take Wanneroo Road north until it becomes Indian Ocean Drive, then follow it all the way up to Jurien.

The departure point for all tours is the Jurien Bay Harbour off Harbour Drive. Your guide will be waiting for you aboard ‘Sound Waves’ or ‘Mojo’. The boat will be parked up at the floating platoon behind the information bay. Please be at the Harbour 15 minutes prior to departure of the trip.

Although it varies on each tour it's generally a good idea to bring: · Swimwear (for the snorkelers) · Camera or GoPro · Hat & sunglasses · Warm jacket/jumper (it can get cold out on the water or after a swim) · Sunscreen

Yes, you are welcome to bring along your own wetsuit and snorkelling equipment, however, please note that the price is the same.

Snacks, light refreshments, and water are supplied on all Sea Lion Tours.

We have a limited about of Go Pros available for hire at $50 per person.

‘Sound Waves’ and ‘Mojo’ are the names of our two boats. They are both 10 metre Fibreglass Leisure Cats and were custom-built in 2017/18. The only difference between them is Mojo can carry 15 people while Sound Waves is licensed for 12 pax. It is not guaranteed that you will end up on the boat that you choose at the time of booking as sometimes we have to move groups around to accommodate people wanting to go with their friends etc., so it really doesn’t matter which one you book in for.

There are no set age limits for our Sea Lion Tours.

‘Sound Waves’ and ‘Mojo’ offer easy access through the side entry door with plenty of seating and suitable space for the elderly, mobility impaired and wheelchairs up to 600mm wide. Please contact us for further details.

We can run up to two Sea Lion Tours per day depending on demand. One trip a day is on offer every day, and additional tour times may be added during peak times (Weekends, school holidays etc.). All tours are subject to weather conditions.

We have three different islands we can access for our Sea Lion Tours; all are located in shallow water with the depth varying from 1 to 4 meters.

If you are not sure whether you want to join a Sea Lion Tour as a Snorkeller at the time of booking, you are welcome to book in as an Observer and decide if you want to snorkel on the day. There are enough snorkel sets and wetsuits on the boat for everyone so a last minute change of mind won’t be a problem. Please do leave us a short message in the ‘Notes’ box when entering your booking details indicating that you might upgrade. You can pay the additional $26 by cash or card on the day.

The water temperature can get below 15 degrees Celsius in winter and up to 25 degress in summer.

Yes definitely, bookings are essential. Tours only depart if we have received bookings prior to or on the day.
